NEW PROJECT DONE. BMW 48V MILD HYBRID (G1.5 MHEV) IS FULLY CRACKED.

Small pack, big problem. One over-current event, one deep discharge, one crash signal, and the BMS latches itself shut. Contactor lockout. Car dead. Dealer answer: new pack, no components, no repair, no parameters.

We went the other way. Full DFLASH decompile of the MPC5746C mild-hybrid BMS. Not donor. Not virgin BMS swap. Flag detection and erase, with every parameter identified in the dump.

What is now possible:

✔️ Remove hardware protection latches: over-current (803405 / 80340A), deep discharge (803437), contactor lockout, under-voltage
✔️ Change VIN
✔️ AUTOSYNC to calibrate a second-hand battery to the car, plug and play
✔️ Full read of pack config: VIN, battery serial, 20 cells in series, LTO chemistry, per-cell array, install mode, fault snapshot

And two tools, both built in house:

🔧 File editor, open to everyone. Upload the EEE dump, get the decode, tick the calibration-safe latches, build the corrected file. No guessing, no hex hunting.

🔧 UDS bench addon. Our own DBC simulation emulates the vehicle over CAN so the pack gets contactor control on the bench. Wake, read live telemetry, read and clear DTCs, verify the pack is clean BEFORE it goes back to the customer. 48.73 V, 27 mV spread, zero actionable faults, then it ships.

A 48V battery is not scrap because a flag is set in flash. It is scrap because somebody decided you should not be able to reset that flag.

We decided otherwise.
