SME crash reset requires replacement of all deployed pyrofuses and programming of the repaired SME file.

Unlike a virginized SME, a properly repaired SME retains its original coding, vehicle data, and software structure, allowing future BMW software updates and diagnostics to function normally.Our software reset is PLUG&PLAY. You dont need eSys, ISTA, ICOM, IMIB/EOS or any programming. Old data, SN, flashID and everything is preserved, no warranty affected, flashing and update safe. You will need to change all pyrofuses. What this does
Upload your BMW i3/i4/i7/iX/iX1/iX2/iX3 SME TC275 DFLASH file (.bin) to decrypt the EEPROM blocks, VIN, CAFD, FlashID and DMC cell module serial numbers, and to clear the crash flag. Tested on i4 and several firmware versions.
This is not a virgin method. It is a master flag erase that leaves the original data alone: the vehicle drives with the same data it had before the crash, and you do not need ISTA, AOS, EOS, IMIB, ICOM or any other 20,000 EUR of equipment. Change the pyrofuses, write the cleared .bin, and the car is back. HEX files are not supported. Do not proceed without watching the video on this page first, and keep your original dump.
  1. Choose your dump. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is charged at this point. It must be exactly 393,216 bytes (0x60000).
  2. It is parsed. The file uploads, the size is checked, then 500.0 tokens are used and the full report is built.
  3. Clear the crash flag. If crash data is active, the report shows a CLEAR CRASH button. That step is free and gives you the modified .bin to write.
