Description
This Hyundai Ioniq eDrive repair kit is EV Clinic’s HolyGrail solution for the GEN1 Ioniq electric front motor (2019–2022), developed from hands-on teardown and failure analysis across multiple units.

Note: Rotor oil seal is currently not included in this kit — it is in development and will be available in a future V4 version. Furthermore, all other bearing positions are covered with premium FAG, KBC and ILJIN ceramic components selected for extended service life beyond OEM specification.
In contrast to OEM replacement, this kit targets root-cause wear components across all motor zones simultaneously. As a result, a single intervention covers the full bearing set rather than a piecemeal approach that risks repeat failure.
The ILJIN SB-356215PC rotor bearing is the ceramic V3 variant — the same grade validated in EV Clinic’s Tesla LDU HolyGrail kit to over 960,000 km. Therefore, this kit represents the highest currently available specification for Ioniq GEN1 (2019–2022) motor rebuild.
