This Megane E-Tech eDrive repair kit is a targeted solution for the Renault 6AM electric motor, part number 290307254R. It was developed by EV Clinic after successfully repairing a Megane E-Tech that came into our workshop with a clear milling sound from the eDrive.
Typical symptoms
- Milling, grinding or whining noise from the electric motor
- Noise that rises with vehicle speed
- Noise present under load and while coasting
These symptoms usually point to worn motor bearings. Caught early, the fault can be repaired at component level instead of replacing the complete eDrive unit.
