Reverse engineering Smart 453 EQ finished after 30 days.. Counter gets to 0 due to increased consumption (gps tracking built-in or additional consumer on OBD) and error flag shows up as DCDC internal error P085296 and P0852F1. Mercedes is asking 5500€ after the expiration of the 2-year warranty to eliminate the defect. They change almost complete powertrain (inverter, dcdc, hvjb, ptcu… everything except electric motor)
You need to 8 working hours to take out DCDC and return everything back. You can send us only DCDC module or you can send us complete vehicle. We have FLATRATE transport for example from Frankfurt to our workshop in Croatia aroung 400€ in 1 direction. Best solution is to send complete vehicle, but if you can handle all work and take it out by yourself then good, send us only DCDC.
