This Mercedes EQB eDrive repair kit is a complete, road-tested solution for rebuilding the ZF induction front drive unit (eATS) fitted to the Mercedes EQB (X243) from 2021 onwards, OEM part number [A243 …]. It was developed by EV Clinic from teardown and repair experience with EQB drivetrain failures: bearing noise and whining under load, grinding from the output side, coolant ingress into the rotor and the SiC Kaco seal failure that ends with coolant in the gearbox oil.
The EQB front motor is closely related to the EQA and EQC ZF units but is not identical. Bearing sizes and seal dimensions differ, so EQC or eVito kits do not fit. This kit is built specifically for the EQB front drive unit. It does not cover the rear permanent-magnet motor on 4MATIC versions.

- EVC heat-treated, nano-coated steel rotor sleeve
The original SiC seal is removed and replaced with our PTFE Nylon seal, the same approach proven on the Tesla LDU and Mercedes EQC HolyGrail kits. Combined with the hardened sleeve this removes the root cause of coolant leakage instead of only replacing the worn part.
