Notes

  • You must download specific version of Infineon Memtool from this manual, newer versions will not work
  • You must use miniWiggler v2, new v3 will not work
  • DFLASH region in TC1797 flash is NOT continuous, you must read/write each region separately if you want to read it
  • Pullup resistors on TDI and TDO might not be required, but if you're having problems connecting using memtool you should add them

To clone the inverter you will need to clone or transfer the M95256 EEPROM from the original board to the donor. You must also read the PFLASH from the original boards TC1797 and write it to the donor board. DFLASH is not used and you can skip it

Part 1 - Cloning the TC1797

To clone the TC1797, you must make the following modification: Remove the "472" 0805 SMT resistor from the PCB. We leave it partially soldered to the bottom pad so we don't loose it, but it's important you break the connection to the top pad. If you're unsure leave it off the PCB until you are done with the cloning, but don't forget to place it back...
